Corey Pierce

Corey is a long time volunteer with HFO. He has been a counselor at camp since 2002 and served as an administrative assistant in 2010 for HFO. He is a severe hemophiliac and recently completed a masters degree in epidemiology in the Netherlands.  While interning with Bayer, he proposed the "Living Fit: A Joint Effort Program." Corey is also a certified yoga instructor. He has taught yoga classes both at camp and to parents of children with bleeding disorders.

Michelle Fernandez

Michelle has been a long term community member. She is a consistent volunteer and was at our Board Summit as well as the Advocacy summit this year. She is keenly interested in becoming involved in advocacy efforts and was one of the consumers that helped testify for an out of pocket expense bill in front of the senate health care committee. She has two boys with hemophilia. She most recently attended a Steps for Living conference sponsored by NHF for us and is also a trained Parents Empowering Parents facilitator.

About Me Tammy currently serves as the Practice Manager of the Hemophilia Center at Oregon Health & Science University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Portland State University and has worked in the healthcare industry for 17 years.
