History

The Hemophilia Foundation of Oregon (HFO) was founded in Portland in 1963 by a small group of parents of children with hemophilia.  Like many foundations, ours began out of a vision of a few individuals who saw the need and importance of uniting in an effort to provide information, education, and improved treatments that would keep our loved ones alive.  Over the years we have provided many services and programs designed to enhance the lives of those with bleeding disorders.
