Enjoy a night at the Oregon Zoo during the annual Zoo Lights event. This event is for all families affected with a bleeding disorder to come together and celebrate the season, enjoy some time with other families, and experience all that the Oregon Zoo offers during Zoo Lights. 2020 Advocacy Teen Program
Learn how to advocate, speak to legislators, and make a lasting impact! This is a fun and engaging weekend designed to prepare teens for telling their story and advocating for the community. Teens will gain experience in communicating with elected officials and advocating for themselves. Then, they will get the chance to apply these skills at HFO's Annual Awareness Day, when they will attend meetings with their elected officials to help inform them of the unique challenges experienced by our…

Our first event of 2020 will take place in Salem On Sunday, February 9th. It will be in conjunction with HFO's advocacy dinner and training. Starting at 2:00pm we will join others from the bleeding disorders community in the Grand Hotel Board Room (201 Liberty St SE, Salem OR) for advocacy training and dinner.
